No passado dia 31 de Janeiro, a Galeria de Arte Urbana visitou a Escola Básica Garrido Sampaio, e passou uma animada manhã com cerca de 50 alunos do 1º ano, a explicar o que é a arte urbana, os principais projectos que tem vindo a desenvolver na cidade e a importância de proteger o património.
O entusiasmo e alegria com que fomos recebidos, contanimou-nos para o resto do dia, e é sempre uma motivação para continuamos a desenvolver estas iniciativas junto do público infantil, no âmbito do programa educativo da GAU.
O nosso agradecimento aos professores e auxiliares envolvidos, e um especial para as crianças que partilharam connosco este momento.

On the 31th January, the Urban Art Gallery visited the Elementary School Garrido Sampaio, and spent a lively morning with about 50 students from the 1st year, explaining what is urban art, the major projects that have been developing the city and the importance of heritage’s protecting.
The enthusiasm and joy with which we were received, contanimou us for the rest of the day, and is always a motivation to continue to develop these initiatives within the educational program of the GAU.
Our thanks to the teachers and assistants involved, and a special one to the children who shared this moment.
